Hi guys,

I twisted my fuel line on top of the assembly of my 99 eclipse gst and have a few questions.

How do I make sure im buying the right replacement when mine have a black sensor on it and some dont?

Is there a difference in assembly for 2g years?

Can i still use the twisted one?

Does anyone have one for sale?

Thanks in advance

Bummer. Chances are strong, you won't be able to use the twisted line top again. Even if you could "untwist it", it will still have some restriction in it, and as likely, may have hairline cracks, causing a fuel leak.

The 2gb units have a black plastic connection on them for the tank pressure differentiation sensor. Since your car has the wiring for it, it is easiest to replace your top with the 2gb model and be done with it.

There is information on this forum showing you how to rewire the connection at the tank to ignore the pressure sensor, if you are so inclined. It depends on your skill level and patience.

Thanks for the replies. Yes i have looked into AN fitting. I am gonna go the easy way and replace it. I have look around and found some 2g fp assembly with no pressure sensor....? does the one with the sensor only come in 99 2g??

Awesome thanks for clearing it up for me :)

does anyone have on for sale or know where i can find one with the fuel pressure sensor?
