fuel mapping?

I own a 92 laser 1.8 and want to find out if there is any way to interface my ecu with some sort of cable (obd-1?) so I can edit the fuel mapping using my laptop. Is there any software available to help me do this, or will I have to use some sort of HEX editor and completely redo it in basic binary code? If so, where could I obtain the cable to do so (or any available software)?

As of right now, the only way to change internal fuel mapping on a 1g is by editing the code in an EPROM ECU chip.

You can switch to a 2g ECU and use DSMLink.
