1G Front subframe bushings

I bought a whole set of poly bushings and have the front mostly done, but it looks like both energy suspension and pro thane skip four of the bushings. I found one post that says the front crossmember (holds the front motor mount) accepts the same poly bushings as the front of the subframe. I found another post of some aluminum bushings that were made for the outer mounting points (secures the rear portion of the control arm) but nothing with poly bushings. I'm not against solid bushings, but I've already installed poly everywhere else so I figured stick with. Anyways, does anyone sell or know where to buy these bushings?

You shouldnt need them. The front cross member isn't part of the suspension. You can do it with another set of subframe bushings. I did not and the car was tight.

There's only 4 bushings that hold the front subframe up to the car, so what 4 would be missing ?

Tmoney20g, There are two more bushings on the front cross member that has the front motor mount on it and two more bushings on the outer mounts that hold up the rear portion of the control arm. You can see them in the posts that I linked to. I didnt mean that there are four missing bushings on the subframe.

Pauleyman, if the front crossmember holds the front motor mount wouldn't those bushings play a part in the overall stiffness? Even if they don't, mine are in real bad shape so I'll be ordering the additional bushings that fit the front of the subframe. The bushings that I still can't find in poly probably don't need to be replaced, but I thought I'd ask around. Found a set of aluminum bushings, but for $60 I'm not sold yet.

I do not feel it would matter for suspension but if they need to be replaced order another set.

Jnz tuning has all the bushing you are referring to. I purchased all the front end ones from them about a month ago. Made by energy suspension.

Im curious if that solved your problem. I'm currently in the same position as you are. I have ordered the master kit from JNZ, but I feel there should be two more bushings for the subframe. I will order the kit for the front radiator part later.

The subframe kit has only 4 bushings, but there are 6 bushings on the awd subframe, correct? I don't currently have the master kit in front of me.

Should I just order another set of subframe only and use the spare 2 for the front radiator set?
