Front Brake Cooling on a 2GB

This is my third NASA event, 2nd time at VIR on the North Course. My last experience was around 3 years ago though

Another brake cooling option is using water mist in the ducts. This works well with road racing, except for large, heavy water tank. In autocrossing, there is still the problem of sitting still without air movement. Some type of blower might still be needed to effectively utilize a misting system.

Tried ducting with the stock setup and didn't did that much of a difference. With long sessions and our big weight DSM you need thermal capacity in your rotors. I switch to the low buck Cobra caliper setup and NEVER had any braking problem ever since even with agressive pads and pretty hard braking tracks. I change rotors with every set of pads because the pads are SO agressive and chew the rotors in a heartbeat, but a plain rotor set is so ridiculus in price, that is to consider if you lap a lot.

Slightly complex so far as shaping the duct, but with a flat vacuum cleaner attachment and some PVC pipe, could be done, if you have this kind of time on your hands:
