FP bigt28 and slowboy bigt28 questions

I hear that the FP t28 is clipped, but is it also a bigger wheel? Is the wheel in the fp t28 bigger then in the stock t25?

I talked to slowboy racing and they say their big t28 uses a bigger wheel but its not clipped, but they can clip it as an option

So if the fp t28 is only cliped, would it be better to get a slowboy racing t28 and have it clipped as well????

all t-28's are basically the same, but i would go with fp's over sbr, fp is proven. sbr, well, haven't seen to many with theirs, i will ad that i bought my 16g from them....but i look at it this way, i was going to buy the ported t-28 from fp with all new lines and washers and everything for 925, i went to sbr, and got a ported evo 3 with 2g install kit for 818...which flows more air than the t-28, just something to think about, but i would go with fp, great cust. service, and proven product. and no, its not just a t-25 that is clipped, if so, many poeple would just get their wheels clipped on the stock turbo.

welll i know the fp compressor wheel is bigger

but i heard that the turbine wheel is same size, just clipped

Also, i would get the evo with install kit, but the t28 ported is now going for $799

And also, the evo3 needs HUGE port work ALL over in order to keep it from creeping i hear horror stories on creeping with that turbo


Im not getting one, i was just asking, i already have a FP t28 im selling, i may be getting something bigger or going stock, but im just asking around to see the difference

allright, not trying to push you into anything, just tellin ya , but also i got some extra port work on mine....for free...just tell them to do more. but, no, i think the t-25 is supposed to have 8 turbine blades??? but the t-28's are supposed to have 9, that is the only real way to tell if it is a t-28. i've searched all around, and everybody says thats the only way to tell, cause some guys were buying some on ebay, but you need to see a pic of the turbine to tell if it is a t-28.
