Hey guys.. a few people have informed me that I'm selling my car when I didn't even know I was selling my car.. :notgood:

First of all.. thanks to those who have been looking out and informing me.. but just so people don't get ripped off or think they are getting my car.. please be aware that I am not selling my car.. or ever will anytime soon..

Apparently there is a guy using my pictures and passing them off as if thats the car he is selling.. and some have notified me that he is even trying to say he is me and is stumped when questions arise about the new mods I've done lately..

I think he posted it on EBAY but i shut that down.. his DSMTrader ad is still up

I emailed him nicely to see why he was doing this.. his reply:

I let it slide and said whatever. I even gave him tips to take pictures becaues he mentions he sucks at taking pics (what a reason). I even declined his offer for that 10%. All i ask was to not use my pictures and saying that the car he is selling is the one in the picture. but people kept on telling me he is saying its my car that he is selling and I've had enough. So just informing you guys, and if you guys want to give him a hard time about doing something weaksauce like this.. I encourage you..

Incase he manages to sell 'your' car under 'your name' to someone, the buyer will think that it is you that sold the car, even though you didn't get the money. Cover your ass and file a police report! If shit happens, you always have the police report to fall back on. :thumb:

too bad your car has a full 97+ kit on it, where in his add it says only 97+ front... what a dumbass.

heh...im opening up on him..i cant stand it man, il be looking around and every freaking time its like i see your car!!!

you should not mention a few of your mods or something or type the wrong rim in your profile so that if he tries again and its something completely different and hes just copying your profile you can be like...i caught you beotch

yea i seen your car on ebay but i didnt want to pm b/c i thought u were selling it and i also think i seen it on this site. in the class. sorry :(

The exact same thing happened to me. It was a guy over in Cali. I belive. He even put his phone number on the classified ON TUNERS...Took my picture right out my gallery. I called and asked if I could come by and test drive it, "well its in the shop right now" I called him out and he tried to deny it. Such a DUMP A$$...moderators pulled the add.

haha, one of my friends was freaking out about wanting to buy the car for that price. He was like dude the guy said he would even go 6500 shipped and throw in a 20g for 300. He even talked to this guy on the phone. I told him it was a scam right off the bat but he didnt believe me until i told him to insist on picking the car up and the guy never called him back. Good luck getting him busted. I have his address, real phone number, and real name if you want to try and get him in trouble or anything. By the way, that is one extremely sexy car!!!!! :sneaky:

Yeah. They'll be all over that, you bet.:boring:
" i even had people come up to me on the street and ask if i was you.." My ass. This dweeb probably goes outside less than I do.

that is some crazy stuff. the weirdest thing was that I was actually planning on buying that car. saw the ad a few days ago. if you want I can always pretend I wanna buy it and go out there not to far from where I live and see if this dude has the exact same car.

thats crazy...at least he could of picked out a less obvious car.

Awsome car btw. One of the cleanest I've seen.

Just ask him what kind of rims he has (brand). I know what kind they are cause I have them but very very few people know the acyual brand. They all think there alt racing or something. f-ing scammer.

RedTurboEclipse - If the guy manages to sell a car that he doesn't have and he says he is you, he probably has a fake ID in your name. He can collect the money from a MoneyGram or WesternUnion as payment for the car using your 'fake ID' and then it's your ass on the line. The owner who paid for the car will probably file charges against you cause he paid "you" and you never gave him the car he paid for.

Defiant - They don't have to be over that! If I was me I'd protect my ass with a police report. The report filed will probably be the only thing that will hold up in court if he gets sued over it.

RedTurbo, didn't you say your rims are custom?? Tell the guy to take pics of his car & send them to you to prove it.

Im opening up AIM right now to start messing with him. Thats what he gets for putting up a fake ad with his real AIM Screen Name.

I don't know what kind of a report they might take. There's no crime, per se, and I'm not sure it's even so much as impersonation. If anything he may be referred to the District Attorney to file some kind of civil case. Copyright infringement over the pictures?
There's nothing there for him to be sued over. He's not commiting any kind of misrepresentation. The "seller" is.

Actually, this guy is trying to accept money for an item that he posted with an attached picture, that he really doesn't own. Nor does he intend to deliver that EXACT item. Therefore this classifies as Internet Fraud.

This guy really Fu**kin pisses me off, because I was also going to buy the car, I in fact, had the papers sent to him by my bank. He had them sitting right in front of him. Ive got no respect for stupid bastards like this one. I will also have a screen name to harrass the piss out of this SOB. That car is hot as hell, and im sure that is in no way exactly what his piece of shit looks like. Wish there was a way to prosecute this little bi***...no wonder i was waiting so long for a response back. The bank would have sent a deposit to him if i had wanted, good thing i didnt, because then i would have had to pay for a trip to The Woodlands, in Texas  ...."Brad Reynolds" is a ####ing douchebag...

I IMed the guy out of boredom...and I love messing with peoples heads.

So i get on, and im like hey, im interested in it. What kind of rims. He answered Racing Harts. Im not sure if thats what you have or not so I shrugged it off. So I just burst out. Why the F*** are you trying to scam people with this. You do realize that everyone knows your a lying sac of shat. He gave me some story that He builds custom cars for people and sells them. That raises a flag because why would you turn your wifes car into a project that you sell???????? I told him. Give me PHYSICAL proof. Like a picture of him holding a sign next to the car saying SUCK IT DSMTUNERS and i would believe him, and I would apologize and have everyone on this board that messed with him apologize. He never answered :toobad: .

He also says he no longer lives in Spring, Tx. My arse. I think I will find his address and see if this car really exists once I get back into town. :rocks:
