K today i got my fmic installed and removed the bumper. I replaced both fans with one 14" fan. At idle the car won't over heat, put as soon as i take it on the road, the temp starts to rise up. It went all the way up to the "p" on the heat gauge, and only started to go down with the heat on at full blast.

So i checked coolant and that’s fine.
I put back on the heat shields, which helped a bit

But it still over heats, didn’t do this before I put on the fmic. Also my pipes on the intercooler are very hot(upper piping), and i was under the impression that they should be cold?

k so if put the wires opposite to the way they are on now, the fans will go the other way?
In most cases, that's how a bi-directional cooling fan work, just try it and you will see.

does anyone know where i can find a 9" slim fan of good quality?
Summit racing should have any size fan you're looking for.
