I'm posting for a friend. He just bought a '97 Eclipse N/A. However it appears the car has been in an accident. The body doesn't show it on the outside, but after some mechanics inspected the car, they claimed it has been in a wreck.

They listed several parts that the car needs, these are just a few:
Right Hub Assemply
Rack & Pinion
Right Tie Rod End

These parts apparently need to be replaced because the front end cannot be aligned. It is causing very uneven tire wear. On the car.

I don't own a DSM (MR2 owner), but I know my way around cars mechanically. So he wanted me to do the work for him. I'm looking for these parts, and I haven't found anything in the classifieds. I don't want him to have to sell the car, because the motor and tranny are strong.

Where can I find these parts?

All DSM turbo or not need new tie rod ends, struts and hubs about every 100k miles. I just had to replace all mine on my 95 GSX with only 88k on it. Things happen to any used car and things need to be replaced. If the car was in an accident, check the frame out or ask your mechanic if he saw any other damage.

EDIT: Sorry that my post didnt exactly answer your question; to find the parts you are looking for i would check any local parts retailer, check out a shop that does alignments, brakes, suspension work or you could always try the dealership.

Okay, the previous reply didn't help you at ALL.

Check out http://www.car-part.com for used parts in your area.

or try one of the better dealers: http://www.trademotion.com/

The tie rod end assembly is about $40 from Adv. Autoparts, I know for sure.

I'd love to get your specific part numbers but my CAPS is broken, maybe another tuner here will assist you. GL.
