Fixable? Or New Bumper

The paint on the rear bumper of my eclipse is cracking and chipping in certain places. Possibly due to a poor paint job the previous owner did, I'm not too sure. Also has some minor cracks in the plastic. Is this fixable or would i be better off buying a new bumper and painting it?

Does the cracks go completely through?

Only one goes all the way through and its about 3 inches big. the rest or more so fractures

It can be fixed, that's not that bad, you don't need a new bumper unless you just want one, any decent body shop will fix that if you lived in Florida i would help you out...

So why didn't you answer him? I assume you think you were helpful in some way?

@OP: The bumper is fixable, but its going to happen again and again with those cheap fiberglass kits. The material is either hard and brittle or way too flexible for the paint to not crack. Its your choice to fix or replace in the long run but replacing it will more than likely save you some money and headaches.

Totally fixable. Go buy some plastic repair, follow the instructions on application, prep/sand/primer then go get it painted.

He also asked if he was better off buying a new bumper. For the price of getting it painted and fixed the proper way he's better off getting a new one and IMO an oem one.
