I have a 91 TSI AWD with an act2600, big 16g, supra fuel pump, k&n with hacked box and eibach suspension. I had a best of 9.32 at this 1/8 mile track. I was pulling 1.92 60'. I was also running 16 lbs of boost. What would be a better way to get a good launch? And where should i be shifting at. I shift around 6300 right now. This is my first non v-8 car so im gettin used to it. Thanks for any tips or pointers.

I have similar mods and I've done a best of 8.9 in the 8th with a 1.8 60ft. Free up your exhaust and you'll see much better times and possible a better 60ft with a faster spooling turbo.

You could probably stand to shift a little bit higher, but I'm not 100% sure. The best way is to try different shifting points

As far as launching, you can just hover the rpms to about 5,000 and slip out the clutch.

I'm pretty sure you should be able to get those times down A LOT more than what you are running. I just got a filter, turbo back exhaust, boost controller, and a ACT2600. My best time is 8.83 with my t-25. My best 60' was 1.75 running 16 psi

Thats a little hard to believe sir. Got a time slip for us? Thats a mid 13 second pass on a t25.

For the poster, try lowering your boost a bit. My car knocks hard at anything above 14lbs.
