First DSM build 95 GSX

Hey guys, just bought a 1995 Eclipse GSX a few days ago and have some big plans for it. It's red/gray leather, 5 speed, lsd, no sunroof, and is 99.9% rust free (as far as I can tell for now). It has 106k on the clock with a blown (?) 7 bolt and the trans pops out of first gear. I'm planning on tossing in a 6 bolt and see if 2nd gear starts will work through the winter until I can get a nice built trans. It has a few upgrades already and it seemed like the previous owners have take car of it so far. It does have a 16g (not sure which one), black FMIC, DSMlink, 3" turbo back, evo 8 wheels, aftermarket radiator, and an alpine cd player.

Thanks, it looks pretty good and I plan on fixing every speck of rust on it before I start any other work. I was glad the seller had all these pictures, it made me feel a little better about paying $2500 for a car with a (supposedly) blown engine and bad 1st gear

Update! I'm not sure of the condition of anything currently on this car, and I like to do extra work , so I bought an evoIII big 16g turbo. Absolutely no shaft play, in or out or side to side. The blades look like new and the housing doesnt have any cracks, looks good. The guy I bought it from said it had around 5,000 miles on it.

I also bought a set of used blizzack tires for the winter. I hope I'll have it running in time to use them. Craigslist ftw

Thanks, I'm pretty happy with how it looks now but all of this is from the previous owner. Unfortunately I havent had ANY time to get any work done on it lately.

I'm still undecided about the black intercooler. I like the stealth look but I'm a HUGE fan of a clean silver front mount. I'll probably end up using it for a while until I have to upgrade or have an extra couple hundred bucks to spend.
