Finaly bought my dream car.

Although not a dsm im still stickin to my roots and keeping the tsi as my dailey driver, but i just picked up my first acura nsx, im told its my first because once you buy one your addited and will own atleast 5, .....
Got a good deal on it because of slight body damage, and i just got all the body parts and it goes in the shop monday, ill post pics when its done, unless anyone wants to see the damage.

Where are the pictures? Honestly if you got it cheap, my only objection to getting an NSX goes out the window.

In my eyes its cheap, its a 92 with only 71xxx in mint condition and i paid $18,890, the only thing wrong was it needed a new headlight cover and drivers front fender, and a few little misc parts but i pieced them all for 1200 which is good considering a new oem fender from acura is 950 bucks, but yea ill post pics soon. the guy i bought it from was great made me feel like i has just joined a family, i live in maine and drove to see the car then to buy it and then to pic up parts, all from mass (easton) and he was one of the nicest guys ive met, he buys nsx's and parts them out and sells some on the side. he has a mint 91 for sale right now at a good price. but mine was a steal

Not a great deal... but not a bad deal either. Those cars are hard to come by anyway. I raced one a few months ago in my M3 and had allot of fun...

Yea but banks dont use kbb, and trade in value has nothin to do with it,i use what the banks use NADA.com the car will be in excellet condition in less than 3 weeks, i could easily turn around an sell it for 25k with ease. but im not going to becuase its my dream car, and since the nsx gets discontinued this year, the value will only start to rise

Also....the figures on NADA and KBB are usually a wholesale price (or trade in value), which is usually SIGNIFICANTLY less than a private party value, or retail value. Just thought I'd put in my .02....

Yea and when your talkin about nsx enthusiasts you pretty much get what the cars condition is in not the year or the mileage.

And yea the comptech system is sweet but for 6-8k im lookin elsewere, ive only found one twin turbo kit and its 7800, so i think its gonna stay N/a for a while , but im ordering my stage 1 from sos, and my exhaust, which should leave me around 275-300 rwhp which should be fun
