I've been all over these forums ever since I bought my first dsm in January and I kept finding enough information on the issues or questions I was having to not justify making an account but since I'm tired of guessing if other people are having the same issue(s) I am, I caved in and made an account. Plus, this should be a fairly long-term ownership and I can only imagine the kinds of things I'm going to run into down the road, so why not. I also own a '90 Miata and was pretty involved in that community and I honestly wasn't expecting to find another community as active and helpful, but here you guys are LOL.
A little about me; My name is Justin, I'm 19, and I'm currently stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC, as a US Marine. As of writing this, I'm in Lakeland FL where my dsm is, trying to get it ready to go up with me. I've been into cars since I can remember (especially imports, mostly bc F&F and my big brother). I've always liked 2G Eclipses but never had a reason to get one. But my girl and I wanted another manual project car, and we found a 95' GS for real cheap.
So as the car goes, I bought it non-running. I know that's real risky, but for the price, I couldn't resist. The guy was a real nice prior-military man who ran a whole-sale lot of some kind. Claimed he got it from an old lady on trade, (1 or 2 owner, can't remember) with only 90K on it and the car was driven in perfectly fine. Then after sitting for 3 weeks it wouldn't start, so his mechanic diagnosed it as a bad fuelpump. His story seemed solid (still does) so long story short, it's sitting in my front yard right now. Still won't start but I still don't regret it. Maybe later I will LOL. If you'd like to help diagnose, there will be a thread with lots ore information up shortly after this.

Excited to be here, and learn as much as I can. Thanks!
