I tried searching the timeslips and it was difficult to see who was running a stock turbo and intercooler. I was wondering if we can figure out who has the fastest stock turbo & intercooler DSM out there.

I feel bad posting this without giving a personal time, but my car isn't together yet. Should be about another week. I've used up all my money on the rebuild to be able to afford an aftermarker turbo and fmic, so I figured I'd chase after the time of the fastest stock turbo and smic DSM! ;)
 
Phil Beers went 12.0 on a lot of stock stuff. Stock turbo, injectors, SMIC, etc.

DiamondStarMotorsport has went 11.93 @ 111 no nitrous.

The 14b gives the stock turbo/stock intercooler setup more potential than the T-25 on your 2g.

(Saying this because I'm not sure if you were thinking you could run low 12's or whatever on your stock setup like Beers, etc.)

That was on the T25 but I'm not sure about the stock SMIC. I'm sure he drove the hell out of that car to run that time as well.

Yeah, I know the 14b gives more potential, that's why I said high 12's.

OMG How does he do that?! I thought you could only push like 16 psi on stock injectors, and 16 psi wont give you enough to run a 12.0 will it?

The way I see it, it is possible to run a N/A 4-cylinder in the 12's, so adding a turbo, any turbo, will only help. So yes, I say it's very possible.

The fuel demands for an NA motor and an FI motor are very different. Stock injectors can be outrun by a 14b.

Race gas allows for much more PSI, because you can run way leaner.
 
There is a guy who has since turned his car into a race car. That car runs 10.69 @ 133, but as a street car it went 11..20 on nitrous @ 127 or so. It was a t-25 car with a stock smic. That is by far that fastest.
