hey guys. i tried the I/M test a couple days ago amd i failed:notgood:, with a few problems, all on my 'OBD II readiness monitors'. I had 4 'NOT READY's and the KOER failed, whatever that is. The 'NOT READY's were my Catalyst, O2 Sensor, O2 Heater, and my 'EGR Sys'

It also pulled a "P0106 MAP/Barometric pressure circuit range/performance problem" and it said it failed the test becuase my MIL light function check is not working properly.

I live in Utah, and the guys at the shop said i could have 2 NOT READY's and still pass, but my CEL has to be off, i've only got that one code but i DO have a missing link on my MAP sensor, with that said, could i turn my missing link down to a certain voltage to get it to pass, and make that code dissapear? Also, what do i have to do, or what should i do, about the 'NOT READY's? I have disconnected my battery within the last week, so does that mean i have to go through a certain number of cycles/miles to make those 'READY'?

Satan has nothing to say about it, no surprise there. I can't drive my car until this passes, it expires today, so i need all the help i can get right now.

Thanks guys. Sorry about the long thread.

KOER = Key On Engine Running
Satan should be able to to set the monitors to ready for you. Argue with them if you have to, they tend to be pretty stupid.

You profile says "High Flow Injectors" what are they?

Also, if you have a missing link, you can not adjust the voltage. I hope you are talking about an FCD.

Northern Indiana has no emissions testing whatsoever, nor has any place I have lived, so I have never dealt with testing. Sorry I could not help more.

Catalyst, O2 Sensor, O2 Heater

a simple fix for these would be the o2 sensor bypass that velocitapaola sells. aka: paul.

have you removed your catalytic converter and replaced with a test pipe/off road pipe?

if so the bypass will drop the cell for these readings. if you have not and you are still recieving these codes then its your downstream o2 sensor thats placed after the cat that will need to be replaced.
