My battery died, so I jumped my 98 Eclipse GS-T. Now the radio is asking for the security code. I do not know the previous owner. Can anybody point me into the right direction for this 4 digit code?

it wont cost you anything if you take your stereo out, get the serial number, right it down, call the dealership and have them look up the 4 digit code for you. save yourself some money and do this yourself. :thumb:

yup thats what i did. you can just take off the plastic bezel and you can see the serial. call the dealer and nicely ask them for it and they should deff give it to you. if they dont call a differnt dealer and someone will give it to you.
