i was looking on extremepsi and saw they have a package deal on fuel management, it comes with the apexi super afc 2, walboro 190 or 255 pump and 550 injectors for $599, i was wondering if it would be better to run a 190 or 255 fuel pump for a evo III 16g? and is this package a good deal instead of buying everything seperate?

There are two ways to answer this.

If you are going to go with a 255, I HIGHLY advise you get a AFPR too. The 255 is too much for the stock fpr.

If you go with a 190, the need for an AFPR isn't as great.

For the record, I run a 190 and 780 cc injectors for my PTE 56 trim.

Will you have any other tuning device besides this safc? Something like a logger, or MAFT perhaps?

Also, yes, it's a decent deal.

Do you plan upgrading your turbo in the future, if so what to? Like Gsntnct said, 255 pump needs an aftermarket fpr such as aeromotive as it over runs the stocker. With the 190 you can use the stock fpr and is good to about 400 hp.

i will be upgrading the turbo to a evo III 16g, i dont really plan on going over 300-325 but if i could squeeze 350 out that would be fine also so since i have no plans of going over 400 i could get away with a 190, thanks for the help

I bought the same package from Extreme PSI with the 255hp and you will need an aftermarket fpr. I ended up running that set-up for about a month but you will get horrible gas mileage and the car just won't run right up top without a fpr. It is definately a good deal though and they are a great company to work with. :thumb:

Yes the 190 pump will be fine for your goals, only go 255 if you think you will want a bugger turbo in the future or you don't mind spending a couple hundred extra on a FPR. Like I said the 190 is good for 400 whp, which is more then enough for an evoIII.
