Hey guys i just put on my sbr g57 and i finally got it working when i took care of all the boost leaks. So then i went to work yesterday and parked my car then after work i felt like getting the wind in my hair but when i go to boost it would take a very long time. I have the boost set at 15psi but when i take it to redline it barely gets to 8 to 10 psi. I assume its a vacumn leak but where would one be coming from that would affect the turbo spool. Also i have the pcv line and evap line unplugged from the intake. What should I do for the evap line. Thanks for any and all help.

Do you have the internal or external gate? Did it boost fine before but not anymore? What kind of boost controller are you using? I assume you got a new intake pipe as well? Explain a little more in depth of what exactly was installed and what happened so we can further help you.

It is internally gated and a hallman mbc, yea i got a new intake pipe because the one on my t25 didnt fit on the 57 trim (obviously). Yea it was workboosting fine 2 days ago then i went to work and when i got off work i drove the car and all of a sudden it was just really slow to boost. I wasn't beating on the car, before i got to work it was fine, but after it wasn't.

BTW Eric our cars look almost identical besides the fact that you have a 2gb and i have a 2ga, also if you ever feel like selling that front end let me know because i cant find one in red and i've been looking everywhere.

I was seeing 15 psi at around 3800-4000 before hand but not at redline it barely makes 10 psi

Did you check to make sure you didn't blow off an ic pipe?
Yea that was the first thing i checked, all my intercooler pipes are on snugly.

i would check that nipple off the bov, when I forgot to snug mine on, it would do the same thing your talking about

Did you try to put more tension on the actuator arm?

They are adjustable, turn right it will hold WG shut longer and boost will come on faster.

This may, or may not be the problem but if the car is cool, its only two minutes to find out!
