whats the temperture of the muffler, i welded most of it but there is some spaces i want to fill in with jb weld, but thats only holds to a little under 600 *

and you guys that do welding with MAPP/Propane and oxygen, how do you get along, oxygen cans are a little over 8 bucks and I went through 2 already just welding the muffler to a exhaust coupler and a bend, hard stuff...

and whats the stock pipe size right before the muffler, looks like 2 1/4 to me but im not sure....

JB Weld will hold but they actually make exhaust patch stuff. Works real well. Muffler shouldn't get over a couple hundread degree's being to far back in the system and having air always flowing by it. JB Weld will be fine. And yes it's 2 1/4"
