I have a 98 eclipse GST

Ok so i just started to have this problem lately i think when my check engine light came on

about a couple hundred miles ago i put in some fuel injector cleaner and it smoked (blue) for a while then slowly went away

but just recenly it came back not as bad but more consistant when i start it up for the first time and rev it it comes out a lot but as it warms up it goes away but still at idle. and ealier my exhaust poped for the first time

and it feels like im getting bad gas milage

everythings stock except for a TT and bov

I have a coolant leak that im sure of but cant find and a clutch leak that i need to find but nothin major just little leaks, not even sure they would hav anything to do with it.

the car seems to run right nothin making any noise except for my belt, so can anyone help me with my problem please it would be greatly appreciated?

did you checked out your turbo for a shaft play? if not, then do it and give us an answer what you found

BTW Upgrade your profile, because i see that you got TT and Bov,and it doesnt say that in your profile

ok so i checked to see if i have shaft play and i dont at all and the wheel spins with ease
sorry its been a while and i changed it thanks for tellin me that
so you have any idea what it could be?

no its not recircluated...kinda forgot about that although i didnt think it would make a big diffrence...thanks

but the turbo has no shaft play why would it be smoking?

A compression test would be useful too buddy... You will need to get as much info as you can...

A car burning oil might be anything from valve seals, piston rings up to the turbo itself...

One more question... what kind of oil are you using?

well before i got it it had conventional but ive only had it for a couple months and i did one oil change with royal purple 5w 30
and i have no idea how to do a leak down test could yall give me a good resource?
ill have a compression test and a leak down then

ok so i just checked out my spark plugs to see it they had oil and found nothin just a little corrosion that i cleaned up

any good source for a leak down test?

hey iv got to say recently ive been looking in my rear view while shifting and between shifts it lets out a lot of smoke compared to other times does that mean my turbo is going out?
