hey all I was thinking of getting my exhaust manifold ported polished from slow boy racing :thumb: Didnt know if it was worth it.Just running an inake and BOV as of right now. would It be worth it or will i not notice a diff until i got an exhaust.

It's a waste on the t-25 turbo, but if you plan on upgrading later on it doesn't help. I'd start with the weakest part of your setup and start upgrading from there. Ported exhaust manifold is up there towards the top. Get an exhaust, UICP, get the hang of tuning, and upgrade the turbo first.

I would only have it ported if you have it off for another reason....don't go pulling it off just to get it ported. Like everyone else said money can be spent in other places first.

I ported mine when I had the head gasket done. Just because it was off and I can do it myself.

Figure out what you want to do with the car and then you can decide if that is in your goals.

I looked at your mod list, and from what I understand you just have an intake.
I would purchase a boost gauge, if your on a budget I would stick with autometer
about $50.00 then a manual boost controller $50.00 oh and a single or dual pod
whatever you choose $28.00-35.00.

If you already have these mods then I would be patient and stick with getting
a 3 inch turbo back, if thats out of the price range atleast have a muffler shope fab a 3 inch cat back.

If you have an extra 2g exhaust manifold I would try to find someone local that has access to a die grinder and port it myself, I really wouldnt bother porting out a T-25 but if I had the time and I knew that I wasnt upgrading any time soon why not. just my opinion. :thumb:

I say go for it if you're upgrading your turbo later down the road. The results won't be that impressive on the T-25 but having the 7cm opening to match a poted 16G or bolt on "50 trim" will be well worth the hundred bucks down the road.
