Exaust stud Size?

I need to pick up some studs for my exaust manifold after I found that 5 of them were snapped off! Anyways what are the dimensions of the studs? Threads are 8 X 1.25 I found that on the search but what about the length of them.

You could buy a complete stud/nut set from ExtremePSI (or probably 123412 other DSM parts sites). Then you get the correct grade stud and nut materials (they're copper-colored nuts), and the dimensions will be correct.

Why buy off the net when a ton of parts store's have them locally. You can use a few different lengths. Just take one with you or guess. Just don't go too long. I have and you can't tighten them all the way.

Yea im not really looking to spend 30 smacks on some studs, tighten them all the way what do you mean?

Get 40mm studs. You can get one's with a gap in the middle with no threads and if you get them too long the nuts will hit that gap before you tighten the manifold all the way. Make sure to get one's with all threads if your not sure. They are 40mm by the way.

Thanks man. I'm just going to get one's with thread's all the way so I don't have to worry about that.
