umm find out the mods on this 300zxTT. I know with basic stuff they sit around 350whp and they are great from a roll.

a one with a fmic better have the stuff to back it. so it could easly be seeing 360rwhp which im sorry would do you in from a roll. BUt none the less good kill and an easy 50bucks.

here are the mods i know of:
large FMIC, hard IC piping, twin BOV, stillen 3" DP, test pipes, full stillen 3" both sides, suspesion, and MBC set at 15lbs (so he said).

HAHAHA i ran Liam for the hell of it last friday. Well it wasnt really pretty, lets just say in mid 3rd gear he passed me like i was standing still. And oh he didnt even bother to launch it, just wanted to give me every advantage, Even had his g/f in the car. YOU DA MAN LIAM!!

FMIC with 14psi huh? Dumbass. With the dual throttle bodies on a VG30DETT, a FMIC will most always hurt your power untill you're hitting above 700HP. I have a K&N cone filter and 2.5" dual turbo back exhaust, and 14psi I dont tell anyone about. I'm at 420HP at the flywheel. He was maybe at 390HP due to his RAD fmic.

stock TT Z's will run 13.7's with a good driver. Nissan ran 14. somethings when they did it. I dont know why they didnt run better.

But for as what this guy should run? I should run 12.6 when I get my clutch/flywheel on street legal drag radials. But this guy sounds like a dumbass to me.

He swears up and down that he can beat me. I called him last night, he said he still wanted to run for da money. So this time I will bring my camera and all my friends along. I'll get some ownage tape for you.
Quick question for everyone. Do I launch on him and destroy him, or do I not launch and toy with him?

if tit was me, I would not launch on him for a few reasons. First because you already have the race won. Second if word gets around that you can launch and you have a quick car it will be harder and harder to make/find races for money. Third why waste the time to drop it at 6xxx rpm and just pull 4-5 cars out of the whole. Then you know you are going to keep pulling after that. I would "try" and make it a close race and still win just so you can use that as leaverage for your next runs you are setting up.

First off, how do you know he has the race won? You never know what could happen. It's pretty damn easy for people to tell you what you should do, since it's not their money. The purpose of this race is to win, so win.

launch on him and keep the lead... never give up an advantage before the race.. if you're going to sandbag do it AFTER you already have the race won. Though i think you could blow your motor at the 1/8 and still win, keep in mind you never know what kind of freak shit can happen.. so it's going down this friday? maybe some of us from down here will go up to see it

hey whats up dave. should be going down tomorrow. I'm gonna call the guy tonight to verify. I'd like to do it while the sun is going down, that way we can get some ok video. We just gotta be careful headin out there. We have to pass through a residential area. I do not want cops called in. I don't mind people coming out to watch. But i do not want a lot of cars. You can all bring your cars up. We'll meet up somewhere then car pool out there to minimize the traffic.

Genrally from everything I have heard, the 300ZX TT's are garbage from a dead stop, take it from a 60+ roll and they are fast, much better from a roll than from a stop. Good kill on the 300ZX, from a roll it would have been a different outcome.

i met a guy down around springfield area with a Green TT
