After digging through some of my cars paperwork (I have receipts for pretty much every modification done to the car - front mount... I'm anal about that) I found the injector flow chart for my EVO injectors from when I sent them out for cleaning (again with the anal retentive thing
). Now that I'm FINALLY getting around to installing them since its warming up I have a question about them.
Below is the cleaning/flow verification chart. They flow 576 cc/min, which is what the general consensus is around the boards; however I have discovered an inconsistency... to me at least.
As you can see during the static flow test, the injectors were only 2.25 bar which by my calc's comes out to 32.6 psi. Does this mean they can/will/should flow more at the stock 2G fuel pressure, 42.6psi ~3bar
?? And if so, how to I calculate what they will flow at 2G fuel pressure
