How hard is it to get the rears to fit? I know you can make custom brackets for little or nothing for the fronts but you really don't see anybody doing the rears

First off what are you even putting these seats in?

Recaro also offers aftermarket seat brackets which are vehicle specific to match your floor bolt pattern. As for back seats, need info on what your putting them in...

Second gen, I've heard people with wrx, supras and 240x just bending the brackets for the rears but nobody never post pictures or a guide so it might be bullshit

Maybe in a wrx it could be done, but I don't think our car, the whole shape is different. If you care going with the recaro fronts and want to match your rear seats I would just go to a fabric store buy some black fabric and some center fabric that matches the style of the recaro seat you get, and make your own seat covers.

Applying new fabric to seats is quite simple. I have black suede front bucket seats, so I pulled my original rear grey seats out. Removed the fabric and stitched on some new black and black suede to match. What I'm saying is you can customize your original seats and avoide having to muck around bending things trying to put in a different vehicle seat.

Good luck.

well Id be damned with all you saying that the recaros are easy to install. they are in my garage floor looking stupid because I cant find brackets. post links or guide me to where I can get some or Im calling you all liars.

I have a pair of fronts to fit my 2g.

I made mine, but I didn't enjoy constantly measuring/cutting/drilling LOL.

You can buy 2g seat brackets off ebay for $40 too, then as long as you have your sliders with your seat just bolt them on top of the bracket and put it in the car!

Not true. You cant get them even off ebay.
I will dance mexican style and scream HAY CARAMBA! if you prove me wrong.

I knew about wedge engineering but they have been hard to contact.

i used corbeu brackets to bolt my seats in, just drilled holes and bolted sliders to brackets and brackets into car. easy day.

i spent 950 on my evo 9 recaro's in mint condition and the brackets were already in the car, they had ghetto ass BOMZ racin seats bolted to them. Unbolted the bomz bolted up recaros and sold bomz for 200 bucks to a honda kid. The brackets need to be bent slightly and the bar doesnt fully lock down because of the front cross bar, you could either cut it off yourself or deal with it its not like the seat slides around, but i needed my seats mounted as low as possible because im 6'4''

Alright good advice I'm around your height, I had that issue when I put a set of recaros in my old nissan, the seat sat way to high. Had to modified them because my damn head was basically in the roofROFL
