evo 8 injector seats

so i got some used evo 8 injectors and i had to buy the seats for the bottom, are they supposed to be a little loose or what? the old cracked ones for tighter. thanks

There should be 4 rubber seats that sit in the groves on the head itself. They should not be loose. Its a tight fit. When the injtectors get installed and the fuel rail bolted down, the seats are acting as a seal for boost. If they are loose, you will have a boost leak.

Buy all 4 from the local dealer. I used to recommend JNZtuning but they ####ing suck balls!!! You can choose to use them as they usually get pretty quickly but I am sure extremepsi or someone else can get them too

their not installed yet but the seats are not the tightest ever. if i installed them would they like tighten up at all or do you think their just too big?

They can be a little loose on the injector. Thats fine. Once the injectors sits in the seat of the head, your fine. I would put the seats in the head first then put injectors in. I like to install injectors into fuel rail, put seats in head, then put fuel rail in place ling up each injector. Then I push them in evenly
