EVAP ticking

My EVAP solenoid with tick off and on alot esp. when at idle, it doesn't affect anything from what I can see but just gets very annoying when you can hear anything but ticking..all the vaccum lines are ran the right way but still does it.. its a 96 eagle tsi fwd..any ideas? thanks

Your EVAP solenoid is dying/dead, the coil is shorting out which causes the constant on/off clicking. You can buy a new one if you care about emissions or you can disconnect it and ignore the CEL if it comes on.

The same thing happened to my gsx a few years ago, I just tossed the solenoid and checked the box in dsmlink to ignore it.
