I have talked to FFWD, but they only make 4g63 engines and no 420A's. He called them silly neon engines :( . I would go with them cause they "connect" their engines.

ive talked to darren about a stroker for my 4g63 and he was more than helpdfull. he is a really goodguy. he may be right in a way. there isnt really that much out there for the 420A. i know crower makes a valvertrain and cam setup for it an a few others butother than that the same amount of money may be sunk into a 4g63 and come out with more power. darren has my bisness any day as long as i have the money. hes a nice guy and is a nice guy to talk to. hell, i even had a phone conversation with him and he was more than willing to sit and talk to me about my options and let me know what was the best for me. in buisness thats what counts, FFWD CONNECTION HAS MY BIUSNESS ANY DAY/:thumb:

Costumer service is part of the game and FFWD has got it. He actually returned my call and was more than happy to give me some pointers. Too bad I own a 420A, he should really look into those engines, people are actually buying them.

yea i wish he would too. if he did he'd be the man for dsm engines pretty much. he returned my call as well but he did 10 minutes after i called, i was shocked. im telling you if he does bring on 420A motors, every other competitor is in for a wake up call.:thumb:

FYI, you may have to pay shipping cost for something out of state. Remember though, the shipping cost is offset by the fact that you dont have to pay Sales TAX!!

VT is a good shop. The others are ok too but I wouldn't put wiesco pistons in your engine. I don't see why you need a new head considering that it was designed by Lotus. You could just buy the new cams and install them. Unless you run a full stand alone then you can't rev high enough to need the other new parts. Do get a valve job while it's off the car though. I don't want this to sound mean but most of the guy's giving the advise here are 4g63 guys, so they are giving you good advice for a 4g63, but not a 420A. There is also no need for forged internals like the ones in those blocks if your going to stay N/A. You can do it and raise compression to get a few more HP but that's about it.

I just got off the phone with ffwd hes said they currently aren't working on them, but he is want to get into them possibly in the future. He said he could do the short block work, but when you get into the top end thats where all the r and d comes in and they haven't gone there yet.

a ifind soh heads to be a little tricky when it comes t flowing god numbers. the dohc heads are not easy to fgure out but its not as difficult. i hope he brings them into the deal. he makes sweet motors.

i am tempted to get my stroker built by him. just waiting for money.:thumb:
