I just purchased a 95 talon tsi which has the FP Big T28 installed, greddy upper and lower intercooler piping on the stock intercooler. When I start it, it idles at about 2G. it instantly bogs as soon as i touch the gas pedal. I'm getting an engine light so I'm pretty sure there's a sensor bad or has come undone.

Is there any way to check the codes on a 2g DSM with out a code reader? Like I hear that you could use a test light in the obdII port or a paperclip or something. just not sure. trying to get this thing figured out tonight because the closest autozone or parts store to have them checked is like 17 miles away:banghead:

THe test light/ paper clip technique is like old school, and not recommended. because your jumping out the obd2 port. Check all the sensors under the hood first. Sounds like your mafs unplugged or you have a major boost leak.
