Easiest being afc could be very debateable. You still need a logger and then you have to look at timing...yadayada...

what about emange is it fairly easy to install and is it a capable unit

do a search on emanage, you will find that alot of people dont like it, but there are a few that like it. dsmlink is your best bet. Spend the little extra and you will be much happier and will be able to control alot more things. You will also be able to see knock on dsmlink which you would not be able to do otherwise with afc or anything.

What else will i need to use the dsm link in terms of sensors and such and will i have to upgrade to a stand alone eventually or will this do everything i need. Mods are on profile. Car is a daily driver and hits track sometimes.

http://www.dsmlink.com will provide all the answers you are looking for. However, DSMlink uses your socketed eprom ecu and utilizes stock sensors. A wideband o2 is recommended which makes tuning easier, or so I've heard. If you upgrade to DSMlink you will NOT need a standalone. A standalone replaces the ECU, DSMlink reprograms it, and piggyback devices lie to the stock ecu. Since your car is a daily driver, I recommend for you to go DSMlink. Go to their website and read the FAQs, I think you will be satisfied. I also plan to do DSMlink when I get a few other things out of the way first. Good Luck, do your research, and don't get banned from this site. This site has many knowledgable people on here everyday that can help you when you REALLY need it! :thumb:
