Hey Everyone,
Little background that might help you; help me figure out my problem..
My alternator belt squeels (any way i adjust it, it wont fix it; but it only squeels at first start up)
Sometimes when its my first start up after a few hours it cranks over Slowly
So i came out of work today and i got in my car..
I usually leave my car in 1st gear because my ebrake doesnt work as well as it use too..
I went to take out of first gear and it wouldnt come out, so i pulled it out with a lil force and started the car, tried to get it into gear and it wouldnt let me..
took a little while and it finally let me put in gear and everything.
I start driving and start smelling a sort of Electrical burn smell..
i couldnt figure out what it was.. Its not coming from the alternator side.
its coming from where my battery would sit behind the intake manifold..
Anyone have any ideas what would be causing a burning smell like this?
