I have a lot of this... A couple of feet actually like 20ft.... Would you be able to use this as exhaust pipe? Or even IC pipe? I have sizes 2" 2.25" and 2.5"
 
I just don't see the reason why you don't get the proper material other than having spare pipe laying around that's used for conduit.
 
I know it's not the best idea for exhaust but I'm not using it for an exhaust someone else is. He doesn't want to go out i dont know why he wants to use it so bad but he does.
 
actually its rather easy just keep the heat down and go slow

Yeah, that's all. If only myself or any of the welders in the shop would have figured that out ten years ago, it could have prevented many spatter burns. :rolleyes:



Grind off the coating before welding, or it can violently pop. (like your gas is low)

The fumes that come off aren't a big deal. They can make you feel sick, but it's not toxic. Zinc oxide is the same stuff you put on your nose at the beach, and apparently they even put it in food.
