I need some help when I bought my car from this guy he had something wrong with the harness that connets to the injectors and I belive the ecu as well...well he cut out the wires and put on diffrent color wires and they look thiker...well my car is running fine and everything but I just don't feel save with that so I just bought a use harness from jdmdepot and I was just woundering who can help me put it on...ill hook you up with some cash...

IM having smoke come out the exhuast.. and then i get this weird ticking noise in the motor for a lil bit then itll stop after a while.. just wondering if anyone knows ### it could be..

might be low on oil if the ticking goes away. maybe

Yeah if your low on oil it'll tick then go away as the oil circulates an mine would do it when id barely start it and it was cold

Ahh, the infamous lifter tick... What color is the smoke? Then you can tell more of what's wrong.

Intake cam jumped time, almost all the valves are pushed a little higher, guess I'll go get my other head resurfaced this week.

Just wanted to to say hey to everyone.. Im new to the forums and live in the alamo area..

I saw earlier someone posted about the lifter tick that starts then goes away... As we all know the 4g63 is known for that tick if you have the oem lifters.. They have a revised 3rd generation lifter for the 2g eclipse that has a 3mm oil port at the top.. It will also work for the 03-05 Evo engines
