I had my vac. lines come undone on me comming from both the egr soleniod and the TB. I know my dsmlink has a place to turn off and on all the solonoids in the car but im wondering if there is anything I need to do other than click the egr button to make this work?

Yeah, there's way more to do. If you're not worried about emissions (obviously not if you're not worried about the EGR), go ahead and remove ALL the vaccuum lines the proper way and cap all the nipples on the TB. Give me a minute, and I'll link you to the diagram... of how to do it. The button in DSMLink is just to ignore the EGR DTC (CEL) so that it doesn't keep popping up when you already know the EGR is disabled.

go there, and go down a couple of posts to the bigger picture. That's all the places to remove/cap. You don't have to do the manual boost controller, and can just leave the Boost Control Solenoid and WG lines in place. Be sure to cap off the nipples going into the intake pipe too, so there's no un-metered air getting in there.
