2G ECU Help Please.

I have a 95 GST made prior to 7/2/94 so I'm using ECU part number MD312464. I was wondering if i can use other ecu because that particular one is really hard to find. Would any other ecu work?

i dont see why any 95/96 wouldnt work no prob.

Is there any differences of the ecu made before and after 7/94? Everytime I'd call to buy an ECU they say they don't have the one before 7/94? If I;m able to use other ECU...would I need like a new harness or something (could that be why the comapny says it doesn't fit?) I'm in need of this ecu...I just got the car, but I have yet to drive it...its really pissin me off help!!!
