Ok well some of u may be following my tuning threads and know I seem to be having some coolant temp sensor problems. I tested the sensor and harness accvording to the haynes manual and came up with this.
Source volts: 4.7. Spec: 4.5-5
Cold ohms: OL. Spec:2200-2500
Warm ohms: 347. Spec: 330-350

Warm ohms is operating temp ohms and were took bout 1 hour after shutdown, but coolant should still be in the 180-200* range, but to be sure before I leave I will run it and check it again. But it seems that it is out of spec at cold, can it be out of spec cold then in spec warm? I have been experiencing hard start in mornings when cold sometimes. Also hesitation at part throttle and little boost. Is the latter a problem cause of the sensor?

Absolutely your reading at cold represents a problem with the sensor. Yes this condition can happen because I have personally experienced it with two different GM vehicles. Just double check that you tested this with the multi meter set on the right ohms scale and if so I would go ahead and replace that sensor.
It will cause poor boost and bad performance due to a forced full rich condition when cold. It is just choking down the fuel when it is cold I would imagine? Does it smell way too rich when its warming up?

Alright, yai got all those symptoms for the most part, not sure on the warm up smell, but I am sure it is. Ill get a new one in hopefully soon got money coming friday hopefully.
And yes it was tested at the right scale on the 2k scale and when it was OL I kept going up just to check and for the warm it was ay 2k scale and read .347k ohms.
