I was wondering are these turbo wastegates on ebay good? Iwas wondering do that they are so cheap and look so alike the HKS, TIAL's and Greddy's.

Do not trust something that is required on your car to keep the boost under control to some cheap knock off product. Would you really want to risk your $2000+ engine to a part that you saved a whole $60 on? Trust me on this, I bought the knock off and then had to purchase the real thing, I should have spent the extra $50 right off the bat, it would have saved me $150 by never purchasing the knockoff.

agreed, i did a write up about ssautochrome a while back...they basically make all that crappy stuff you see on ebay, there shop is about 2 hours from here...basically if there parts were food, you would see spit and fingers in it

Honestly no matter what ebay sellers say... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!! I was in your spot not to long ago and it seemed so easy and cheap to just shop on ebay, I don't do it anymore!

Thanks guys i was just wondering because i always used Tial in my other cars but i am building this one and thought those wastegates were good, anyway thanks once again for the advice.

Aside from the heresay, my friends have actual experience with them (just though we would give it a try, they're so cheap its not much of a loss), we ordered 3 different ones (different sizes and styles) all the diaphragms (sp?) broke within a week.
