ebay strut bars? anyone have any?

if so what do u think of them? and do they actually bolt to the stock strut towers cuz ive heard that some of the cheap ones have to be drilled into the strut tower which is something i dont want to do. any input is appreciated

I don't know about that brand but you could probably look at the sellers feedback to see if it is a good product... If it was me I would just save up another $20 or so and buy one from a well known Company.. Have you checked out MachV's? They sell some pretty cheap ones that are a very good product.

I bought the front strut just to see if it would make a difference, it cost me about $20 after shipping and everything, and it was alright. I didn't really notice a huge difference in handling. The strut bolts right up to the strut towers under the hood. Its a quick job, loosen the six bolt (3 on either side) then slip the bar in place, and then tighten the bolts back up. If you have the money, you can invest in a much better quality strut bar which is what i'm doing shortly.

I just received my Megan Racing Strut bar for my 96 eclipse gst and it damn is it nice. I would recommend it to you.

I have never heard of any eBay strut tower bars that need to be 'drilled' into your strut tower.

In the end, an eBay strut tower bar will work the same as any other name brand bar that is 3x as expensive. The only real difference is the way they look.

For reference, I also have strut bars off of eBay and had no fitment problems what-so-ever.

Do not use "u" for "you", do not use "cuz" for "because", and read any other thread about strut bars.
For the very, very small amount that strut bars might matter to a DSM, the eBays are fine. Don't try to install it backward, or you'll dent the hood.
