I just got my boost gauge and this may be a stupid question but every pic I see of someones gauge has the needle resting at 0. Well mine isn't plugged in or anything so I think that is the reason why, but it's just sitting all the way down to the right at 30 vac which I'm assuming it should do since it's not hooked up but all the pics I've seen of peoples haven't looked like that and been at 0 so I just wanna double checked I didn't get screwed.
Also this is the Autometer Ultralight version...can I replace that crappy plastic tube w/ something thicker and not as crappy? Like would it make a difference on the reading.

Guess that's what I get for a used $25 boost gauge
Now I'm just hoping the profec b I bought from him works also. I can't test it out either since I have no boost gauge to hook up.
