I have noticed that when I pull my Hand brake only the passenger rear tire locks up. Is this normal? I have a 98 GST with stock brakes

Your emergency brake is a cable connected to a lever, and then to your two rear brakes. Since there's no hydraulic pressure involved, the pressure doesn't spread "evenly", so to say. Evidently, the passenger rear is being pulled hard enough to lock up, whereas the driver rear isn't. Isn't there an adjustment right underneath the cup holder? I might be wrong.

So there is no way to evenly distribute the pressure? Would a disk brake conversion make any difference?

Takes a lot of clicks to reach the top. I will adjust the hand brake and see if that resolves my issue :) Thank you

And if that doesn't fix it, you may have a rusty cable run, that you need to free the cable from (pliers and a good yank), then force grease down the tube that is under the center console.
