Im trying to set my ltfts and Im not sure Im doing it. Yes, I have read the manual many times.

30 over je pistons Eagle Rods Balance shafts removed 3" down pipe 3" gm mass air flow sensor upgraded fuel pump 255 Lph 680 injectors Ported 16g Ported O2 housing 2g ported exhaust manifold act 2600 Fidanza Flywheel 4 bolt Logger FMIC afpr

I drove the car on I95 for 10mins lo ltft is -4.7 mid ltft is -1.2 high ltft is -2.1
Let the car idle for 5mins lo ltft -2.3 mid ltft -1.2 high ltft -3.7

So does this mean Im lean? Do I need to correct this using the fuel slides by adding x amount of fuel or use the global? Global is -30.

I posted a short log I changed global to -33 that would be taking fuel away correct?
My problems is no matter what I do the car cuts out about 4000rpms. Its like a rich stutter from when I used the maft.
I have added 5% fuel across the board and have also taken timing away in the those rpms and I have the same result. What am I doing wrong?
One more question on air/fuel 9:1 would that be rich and anything about 14:1 would be lean?

Does anyone live in the central fl area that might be able to help me out setting this up?

Thanks

The proper place to ask this would be on the DSMLink forum. Or to read the manual... it has a section on decoding your logs.

Yeah I have done all that as well just look for a little extra help!

If your trims are in the negative on dsmlink then you are on the rich side. You want to get the stft and ltft as close to 0 as possible. Any numbers on the positive side show signs of lean. Since you are running the gm maft, are your setting on that zeroed out? If not they should be. If you say your car cuts out at 4grand and you think its rich studder, then why add 5% fuel across?

Post on the DSMLink forums. If you try to get help here people aren't too willing, because there are pirated copies of DSMlink out there, and if you have one you can't post on their forums. By posting here it looks kind of suspicious, because those DSM Link guys really know their stuff.

How long did it take you guys to link tuned?
