Ok, im really lost right now, makes no sense, sometimes my car will start and sometimes it wont. Its being a typical dsm. The battery is new, it was dead, and the alternator is also brand new. The starter is prob about a year old. Which shouldnt be bad.

I recently mounted my battery in the hatch, but a few weeks ago i got it started, just had some coil on plug issues, so now im trying to start it to see if those problem still exist. I was thinking its either the starter relay or the ign switch. I also had to wire some wires, from someone doing a crappy alarm install job. It seems like its an intermittent problem. It starting to get on my nerves. Im not sure how often relays go bad. But its gotta be something related to it. I also disconnected the clutch safety switch. That didnt work. I dont think i have a factory alarm on it either. Since i only saw two relays where the starter relay was.

Well let me know what you guys think it may be.

Make sure there is no corrosion on the starter solenoid trigger wire. I had a problem just like that. I used some emery cloth to clean the corrosion off, put some dielectric grease on there and put the wire back on. This can all be done with the starter still in the car, it's just a little difficult to reach.

Try bypassing the relay .... if that doesnt work..
(let me try and find the diagram for it)

Then try bypassing the ignition switch.. if that doesnt work...
By running a wire from the positive side of the battery to the clip on the starter..

Then its the starter

dont forget about the single wire black plug in that seem to just plug into its self. i know a lot about these cars and i dont know what this wire is called. come on im sure someone on here knows what this is called. its a single wire guy that comes outa the wire harness and just seems to plug back into another same single wire plug that comes outa harness. if that wire isnt pluged in the starter wont even try to start. ive had a problem where this wire was kinda coming unpluged and my starter would intermitenley work. man i wish i knew what this wire is called. only way i can explain is that every wire coming outa main harness plugs into a part or accessorie except for the one im talkin about. the single wire plugincoming outa harness plugs into another single wire plug in outa harness. the stock location is this wire hangs out in between where the shifter cables mount down and the starter bolts. any how the wire makes the starter have signal. if it has intermittin connection starter acts funny as all hell

^^ Wow, that's some of the worst grammar I've ever seen. I speak english and still have no idea what the heck you were talking about.

To the OP, I'd definitely follow the other advice in this thread. Start simple. Make sure all of your battery connections are 100% on the posts of the battery. An crappy connection on the battery will cause a start/no-start issue.
