Looks like you guys had alot of fun, get up here for the BBQ, it will give you another excuse to go on a cruise! :D

And who photoshop'd those pics cause that sky is wicked awesome like that!!

The TSi pic for sure!

Bigslicks girl did the pictures...They look awsome thats the first thing I noticed was the sky.The cars look like they are glowing.:hellyeah:

BOATS N' HOES!!!!

Nachos and Lemon Heads on my dads boat!!
Ya wont go down cause my di*k can float!!

I still cant help but shake my head and shed a small single tear when I see that copper Eclipse's front bumper, I just don't know why you would do that, that's trimming gone horribly wrong.

You guys should seriously try to make it to the BBQ, at least those that are reasonably close!!
I am looking at you MY1GDSM.....LOL..

I was thinking about changing the date of the BBQ to Saturday, so anyone that is close shoot over to that thread and tell me what you think of that idea..?

But I would love to make it to the next one of these, so long as its not within the next month and a half...

Why you lookin' at me? I'm not really that reasonably closeLOL

Then next month an half is most of this summerROFL

Fuzzy. The front bumper on BigSlicks 2g is actually broken and missing this was not a intentional hack job... We did kinda clean it up just a little so it wasn't hanging on the ground etc. but it totally sucks that people assume that it was intentional. I guess judging a car w/o knowing jack shit is kinda ####ed if you ask me. Oh well.

ROFL LOL

Evil, don't get all butthurt, I didn't know, but you got a little excited I think, but that does suck. New bumpers are not expensive...

MY1G, I know I was just giving you a hard time, because you were back and forth about coming out, and then you were finally like "oh, hell, might as well put me down", so I was just pokin fun. But yeah its a drive, that just means we'll have to make it well worth it for you guys. ;)

And as far as it being most of summer, I know that sucks, summer is never long enough, daymit, but I vowed I would not drive the beagle until the paint was cured. That should be late July.

front bumpers aren't cheap new...let alone finding one Used thats copper nor is painting a used one to Really match

IMHO 2-3 weeks is more then enough time for the paint to cure on your car if the shop cooked it in the booth hot & long enough ,Do you park it in a garage? if you do keep the heater on all the time it will help speed it up Allot. I Would NOT Wax it till like the middle of August though the wax will stop the paint from breathing and it will stop Curing' all together

Back on topic though...
Can't wait to see all the finish pics and some of the video
Gotta say thanks to Bigslick and his girl for takin there time to do this for us and just coming up with the Idea period ... I just about got really pissed when we first drove down that road and seen that sign

Well I know you can get an aftermarket one from places like Certi-Fit for around $50-100, which is fairly in-expensive. Painting it would be the most expensive, but a short visit and talking with various paint shops could get you a flat rate of $150 or so cash money to paint it.
But that's my experience from doing my front bumper swap, maybe not everyone is the same, nor do I care, I was only stating, now that I know it was not a trim job gone wrong I am over it.

And yes it is in the garage, no I don't heat it, no I will not wax it. I am full aware of when I can drive my car, or how long and even the process of how the paint dry's, the longer I wait to be closer to the wax date, the less swirls I will have in my paint, as much as I would like to say it is, this isn't my first rodeo.

And I am curious to see more pics if you have them as well as video. Like I said I love the beach, I have never been to that beach though. Is there driving pics or anything? Or just the beach pics?

I have a couple of us all on the road that are'nt that bad
A bunch of mine did'nt turn out though:ohdamn:

Love that copper color.

Such a sick and rare color!
Doing the 97 conversion and fresh paint would set that car off like no other!

Yeah I'llbe driving my car mud July, as I will be able to wash it. Late August will be when was will first be seen on my car.

Fresh black paint just looks too damn good to screw up!

I get mine back tomarrow, after they done messed up originally.

Those pics are not bad at all, hope you guys were not going fast when that Talon was in the opposite lane, looks like that car coming in getting pretty close. :D

I love the Astoria Bridge! Just such a cool place, I like it when its low tide, its just a big open plane of mud.

Ya He made it back in his lane with alittle time to spare....;)

Would have been cool to be out at the beach the last few days, the tide I guess has been a few feet lower then it normally is. all sorts of cool $hit you can't see very often

yeah i am waiting to get the money for a 97 -99 front bumper.... found one for $100, then the paint job...... well see. but bills keep holding me back, and for now untill i can buy it and paint it i will just keep the copper one. would look bad with black front bumper...... totally worth the wait.
