dsm meet anyone?

not really but i was trying to make a point. that we are not in high school anymore and we shouldn't be excluding other dsmer from meets just cause they don't have turbos or they aren't fast or they don't run enough boost. thats stupid. who cares. i thought the dsm world was more mature then that. just plain childish. sorry if i offended any honda guys on here. . my bad.

its all good, I know exactly what you mean its just funny how you worded it. I don't see why there is ever any beef between import to import or import vs domestic. the way I look at it is that we are all car people. hondas can be fun and fast and cheap to build just like dsm's. unfortunately they are plagued with a majority of idiot owners and punk kids that think stock shit is fast. I believe they do desrve respect though. I had a 92 hatch back with a stock 92 integra motor a pieced together turbo kit that ran 11.56 @ 123mph, tuned and built by me.

Sorry it didn't work out. I was hoping to see a decent turn out so that these things might continue! It seems like the portland dsms just aren't interested in meeting all that often. Id really like to see a good turnout once and get the word around. Unfortunately my car is still a couple weeks or so from completion so I couldn't support this event. Lets not get discouraged from one bad showing!

Never ever ever seems to fail. Event coming up, and something goes wrong with the dsm. Last time I snapped a Tbelt on freeway on the way to the meet. This time it was just down due to water leak that I never got to.

Hey Guys, Im fairly new to DSM's, I do however know alot about them as i have been in the racing "Scene" for a while and always wanted one. Well good news i just bought one Tues the 10th. I'd like to get to know some people in the area and these meets are always fun. I also own a MK2 Volkwagen Jetta Carat. The dub scene was great to me and very rich with social events. I Really hope that is the case with DSMs. I bought a 93 1g talon tsi with a few bolt ons, Perfect leather interior and perfect headliner , However the core support is bent and the hood will not close, so i am in the process of straightening that out its not to bad.. Looking forward to hearing from some of yall, much love
