Hey what's up dsm fam...well I was just thinking of maybe we can all get together at the chamizal...like in the old days I remember alot of lowriders use to hang out there to show off there cars and have a cook out and have some fun an shit...and well maybe we can all get toghether a weeken and pitch in so we can all go and have a dsm cook out and have some fun like play ball and stuff like that and maybe after that cruise it to the drags....and well let me know what you guys think...

yea I remember when the lowriders used to hop up and down alameda..... ..... You should throw out some dates, that way everyone agrees on a good sunday we can all show up.... Pitch in or agree to show up with something like our last cookout, which was a success.

I know for the last meet Josh had suggested McKelligon Canyon. It's on the side of the Franklin Mountains and has grills. I'm down for any location, just thowing his idea back into the mix.

The mountain would be awsome, I hope we have more than 20...... Theres about 35-40 active member on here, some have not introduced themselves..... It would be nice to have more than our last meet.

ALBUM park, McKelligon Canyon, or The Chamizal...... We should start planning this meet/cookout if thats what everyone wants....... Pick a park, then we can throw out some dates from there we can talk about what to bring and stuff.

I Just did a competition in McKelligon Canyon if anybody would be down for it the picnic area there has a sweet spot to park a few cars there... would make make for great meet pics in that area too. (could be i'm not really use to the mountains yet too.) neway's i'd bring my gst up there!

Well, lets stop just talking about it and make it happen. How about May 29th, it's a Sunday. Last year we had the Spring Cookout May 30th. This could be the second annual cookout.

I see a lot of interest in McKelligon Canyon. Does anyone know how much room there is for parking at the picnic spots at the end. It's a good idea but we need to make sure theres room for everyone. Plan on 20 at least.

There's the amphitheater parking lot. Everyone parks there, then someone climbs up the mountain with a camera and starts snapping pictures. Or we get there as soon as they open the gate and try and claim all the parking spots in that turn around area.

McKelligon canyon is on Alabama st. behind William Beaumont hospital or you can just google map McKelligon Canyon Rd.

We need to know for sure how many cars will fit before we commit to McKelligon Canyon. Otherwise we need to get a new location ASAP. Maybe one you guys in the NE can swing by and check it out and let us know.

The cars will fit, if we stack em bumper to bumper. I guessing the size of the parking is as big as the area we had for our first at ascarate. <-- im guessing.... I was there not to long ago. If not there are other areas to park. The grilling area is bout the size of a small house backyard. Only 1 bench to sit so if you have folding chairs bring em.

So Sunday, May 29th at McKelligon Canyon (off Alabama St. behind William Beaumont hospital). Say 1:00 in the afternoon. Last year we started 1:00 but most of the guys rolled in late. Lets try to be on time this year cause I'll be hungry! Start spreading the word out!
