Driving to Texas

i might be moving to Texas in the futare, and i was wondering if i should keep my car more near stock for the drive (chicago to Texas) or if it would be fine for me to drive with my 60-1 to Texas, of course i wouldn't be driving like an ass, but would the bigger turbo but more wear on the motor for that long of a trip? If so i will just wait to put all the other mods on my car until I'm there if i go.

I don't think you will have any problems if you put the turbo on before you go. I know a few people who have big ass turbos on their Supra's and RX-7's and they have driven from Virginia to New York and back with out any problems. I would put it on and just drive around for about a week before you go, that way you make sure every thing is working right. The last think you want is for you to be halfway to Texas and find out you have an oil leak because something wasn't tightened all the way.
