Driver seat stuck in forward position

I was cleaning my car's interior and placed the electrical driver seat in its most forward position

now its stuck, i can move it up and down but it wont move back and forth

does anybody have any tip? im sorta screwed as im supposed to leave for holidays tomorrow with this car, and i cant fit in it as of now..


is there any way to manualy move the seat ?

Have you tried unplugging the power seat and plugging it back in?

yes, thats a no go...

no way to move it manually with a ratchet? or do i have to unbolt it and move it backwards ... *sigh*

Can you take seat out, pull the motor out of the seat and then replace locked motor back on track in your seating position.

Have you checked for a good hot and ground first? Maybe fuse.

took the seat out wich was a b i t c h ### the seat was over 2 of the bolts

found a broken connection underneath, fixed that and put it all together ( cleaned it nicely incase of junk in the rails that interferes with seat going back and forth )

seat goes backwards now but not forward at all, so i just put in the desired position and disconnected the power so that i dont pull it further back by mistake
