today when i
opened my
drive side door today the handle is loose or needs to be replace, i found door handles on ebay for 20 some dollars. how hard is it to replace the door handle im not a mechanic, i know its going to take me a tab bit longer to replace it or should it just be easier to take it to a auto body shop and pay them to do it or spend a couple hours in the cold weather and bear it out i dont have a garage. :(
i need some input, and how much would a autobody shop charge me?
thanks fellow dsmtuners

I know this is a occurring problem, on my other eclipse this also happened to me so i decided to try and fix it....I took the door handle off and you can see where the BREAK IS that occurs where it snapped....I chose to screw a small SCREW through to hold it together and then put some BONDO for plastic, any strong glue for plastic will do, just load it up where the nail is all around where it craked. Let it sit and put it back on. I had the car for a year and didnt break AGAIN!! Im not sure if i explained it right it worked

It only takes about an hour. Everyone makes it seem much harder than it really is. Either get a new door handle from Mitsubishi and just replace the old one, or get a new one and replace it, but get the $15 fix from Refinedrides.com or something like that. It beefens up the part that breaks on the door handle so this won't happen again. Search on here and you'll find the fix.
