alrite im just now startin to get cash and stuff so im going to be buying some mods but before i do, i was going to perform a simple mod ...if it helps me at all. as we all know we all have those damned foglamps...RIGHT in front of the damn Side mount intercooler...so if i remove my foglamps...i will get better flow...and if thats true..how much will this help me??

Sorry dont know much about airflow on a 1G body. i'm sure pulling your foglight out would increase airflow through your sidemount, also you could try making bigger slots in your plastic inner fender cover that would help too. maybe try searching for free mods on here. http://www.dsmtuners.com/tuning-guide/1gturbo/
but welcome to tuners! where the hell is bellvue anyways? i'm in kearney.

Intercooler Air Flow Improvements
The factory side mount intercooler is located directly behind the passenger side fog lamp. To increase the air flow to the intercooler, it's a good idea to remove the fog lamp or replace it with a smaller unit. You can access the intercooler from the passenger side wheel well. You'll notice vents in the splash shield for the intercooler. There's two things that can be done - make the vents larger, or simply cut out a square and bolt up some screen material to allow more air to pass through. It would be a good idea to clean out the intercooler at this point also

the best airflow mods you can do for the stock IC are to take the foglights out and run the headlights in the sleepy eye mode..which means you manually adjust them with that dial that is behind each flip up unit (if you are a 1Ga) so that the light is about half open.

I call bull. You'll have more flow around the foglamp than the intercooler will be able to pass. It's not an obstruction.
if you are telling me that i got that from the tuneing guide  is dsmtuners wrong?

i partialy agree with defiant...although generally the more air passage the better, so why is it not true with this also? i know with my setup i would not have it any other way than taking the lights out and running sleepy eye mode, though the reason i need more airflow is because im on a supra sidemount.

I took my fogs out for the hell of it, not for a performance gain, more so because I like how the 1G Talon looks without them. I will tell you that the foglight does infact sit directly in front of the IC, no doubt about it.

Is it worth it to remove it from a performance stand point? I would have to say it depends on where you live and what climate your car is induced to. If your in Arizona or Florida at anytime of the year, then your just pretty much shooting hot and humid air at it and that wont help you at all. Now if your where I am and your temps are down to the mid 50's in the day and 30's at night, then by all means go for it. I work nights, so as you can imagine, the drive home can be entertaining.

If you love your stock fog lights, then I would say leave them until you have an excuse to remove them (i.e. large FMIC).
