2G Does the 99 GST Eclipse have a speed limiter

It does have a speed limiter and fuel-cut as well. 135 or 137. I had one going 135 once then the next day it made 137 so who knows. (On an autox track so this doesn't get deleted thinking it was on the highway.)
 
2g GSTs have a governor at 139. The reason for this is because the GST came equipped with H-rated tires from the factory. The GSX doesnt because they came with Z-rated tires.
 
How can you get ride of that speed limit? I have a GST I haven't tried to get it that high right now but I dont want it on there when I do decide to reach that high of speed.

Above 100mph or so, speedometers usually read on the high side, so maybe that could be the explaination. :)
